We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Administrative Assistant to work out of our Knoxville, TN office. Primary focus will be to provide administrative support for our fundraising/development Vice President and staff. Must be a self-starter who thrives in an upbeat, fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable interacting with multiple staff members, high level volunteers and individual donors.

Responsibilities will include:

. Daily updating and organizing of multiple computer programs and databases related to events . . Use of MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
. Creating and composing marketing materials and other correspondence
. Coordinating travel arrangements
. Creating and preparing spreadsheets
. Organizing committee meetings and compiling meeting minutes
. Preparing budgets and media reports
. Expense tracking and vendor management
. Proofreading

Required Experience

* High School Diploma, or equivalent
* 2 to 3 years experience in an office setting
* Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database tools
* Ability to complete administrative tasks such as creating and compiling spreadsheets; data entry and database management; responding to and typing/composing written correspondence; proofreading
* Independent, self-starter
* Analytical problem solving skills
* Ability to prioritize work and multi-task to meet deadlines
* Willingness to support processes related to fundraising events such as assisting with event logistics as needed
* Ability to work general office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, phone systems, etc.
* Willingness to complete other duties as assigned
