Reports to: Director, Equipment Sourcing & Supply Management

Benefit Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Education Requirements: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Management, or related degree.

Experience Requirements: Previous internship in a business environment a plus.

Position Summary: This position will provide you a first-hand opportunity to participate the continuous improvement of a cutting edge and integrated Supply Chain system. The position provides departmental support performing activities such as, but not confined to, database entry, on-road licensing requests, invoice processing, and other equipment related duties. Engages with Project Teams, Buyers, and other Supply Chain categories to assist in the end-to-end management of equipment. Provide daily support for Equipment Buyers and Equipment Category Management. Assists in documenting current and new Equipment Category processes.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supports department's need for maintaining capital budget entries into the Capital Planning System (CPS)in a timely manner.
  • Receives, reviews, and processes requests for on road licensing setups & renewals.
  • Retrieves, reviews, and processes invoices from a variety of vendors for payment.
  • Supports the department's need for data entry into JDE and Oracle cloud.
  • Creates and maintains various databases and spreadsheet files.
  • Makes outbound calls to a variety of vendors to check availability for equipment.
  • Works with teams or other individuals on special projects, per request.

Additional Job Functions

  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.
  • Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be detail orientated.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask with frequent changes
  • Ability to work independently while managing and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to learn new software systems and achieve proficiency in each.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information, and act in a professional demeanor.
