Acara Solution is looking for a Systems Cybersecurity Engineer for Our client located in Scottsdale, AZ

Here's what you'd do:

• Develop secure solutions to protect next-generation defense systems and warfighters.
• As a Senior Cybersecurity/Information Assurance Engineer for Cyber Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for providing cybersecurity solutions and supporting certification and accreditation activities to assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
• Leading a cybersecurity team to implement advanced security solutions to meet the customer's mission and deliver a robust and repeatable security approach
• Applying industry and DHS cybersecurity technology and trends to ensure engineering project's security services are consistent with or superior to, industry best practices
• Conducting and mitigating vulnerability and compliance assessments on various operating systems, Internet browsers, web servers, databases, network, and peripherals devices

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Mathematics
• Active TS/SCI Clearance & Active CI Poly
• Minimum of 5 years experience using vulnerability/compliance scanning tools such as Nessus, ACAS, Tenable, etc
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with both Linux-based OS (Red Hat, Centos) and Windows OS

• Master's Degree
• Cybersecurity certification - either CISSP or Security+
• Strong use and understanding of systems engineering concepts within the system development life cycle
• Strong use and understanding of cybersecurity processes/guidelines such as NIST 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Strong knowledge of cyber security technology and trends to develop security engineering products and implement various security designs
