Office Administrator

Position Identification:

Non-Exempt

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

The Office Administrator will perform accounts receivable and office administrative duties.

Job Functions:

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

  • Create invoices and manage invoicing process. Collect lien waivers when required.
  • Deposit checks to the bank, and process credit card payments.
  • Enter payment receipts into the accounting system.
  • Establish and maintain credit and collection procedures.

Office Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Create PO's and collect delivery confirmations.
  • Enter inventory taken to jobs into the accounting system.
  • Manage company charge accounts (credit cards, fuel cards, store accounts, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

  • 2-4 years of accounting or office administration experience preferred
  • Knowledge of computer systems, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

Occupational Health and Safety:

  • Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
  • Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
  • Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace

Working Conditions:

Physical surroundings: Office/warehouse environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.

Physical Effort: Extensive sitting, standing, walking. Repetitive keying, typing. Occasional lifting not to exceed 25 pounds

Travel:

Hours: Not subject to overtime
