Wausau Window and Wall Systems

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide the organization with timely and relevant cost information and analysis, ensure the integrity of the cost accounting system, and support operational initiatives.

POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform job/inventory costing and associated analytics, supporting activities related to project, product, plant, and customer performance.

  • Prepare entries and financial reports consistent with the accounting calendar, including but not limited to standard costing/cost absorption, variance analysis, inventory analysis, and project cost performance.

  • Assist withLean and capital project justifications, analysis andtracking support as warranted.

  • Draft and discuss ad hoc data queries/reports with others in the organization in support of business initiatives.

  • Support SOX compliance/audit efforts in area(s) of responsibility

  • Perform select general accounting and other tasks as assigned.

  • Adhere to established Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all associates.

  • Adhere to established Policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives.

  • Undertake job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company's Core Values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Position requirements include a minimum of a 2-year degree in an accounting-related discipline (4-year degree preferred) and 1-3 years costaccounting experience or equivalent in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Qualified candidates will possess advanced systems (ERP, Excel, Report Query Tools) and analysis skills as well as sound verbal and written communication skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of Intermediate cost and general accounting principles

  • Efficiently utilize state-of-the-art ERP system.

  • Proficient and accurate data entry skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discernment.

  • Maintain an attitude of cooperation and communication with all associates.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • ERP Software (Epicor preferred)

  • Bluebeam/Adobe Professional
